Introduction: Montanans for Responsible Stewardship is a Political Action Committee organized to advocate for the election of conservation champions at the state level.  We take your privacy seriously. This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, how we keep it safe, and your rights. By using our website or our services, you agree to what’s described here.

 

Montanans for Responsible Stewardship maintains strict privacy policies, ensuring that personal information of our users and members is not sold, rented, released, or traded to others without prior consent or a legal obligation. Personal information includes name, email address, phone number, and other contact information.

We may also receive information from event co-hosts or partners.

 

SMS Opt-Out: If you are receiving text messages from us and wish to stop receiving them, simply respond with “STOP” to the number from which you received the message. Once we receive your message, you will no longer receive further text messages from us.

As part of that process, we may share your name, postal address, and email address (but not your financial information or phone number) with other conservation non-profit organizations or efforts that may be of interest to you. As part of this sharing, Montanans for Responsible Stewardship may allow other like-minded organizations to use the information to contact you regarding issues related to our mission or ask for support, but only after we have approved such communications. 
  • We never sell your information to third parties.

In your request, please make clear what Personal Information you would like to have reviewed, corrected, updated, or deleted, and whether you would like to have your personal information suppressed from our database. For your protection, we may only implement requests with respect to the personal information associated with the particular email address that you use to send us your request, and we may need to verify your identity before implementing your request. 

Some requests may be limited or declined where we are required to retain certain information (such as donation records or information needed for legal, tax, or audit purposes). When a request cannot be fully met, we will explain the reason. Montanans for Responsible Stewardship will comply with your request as soon as reasonably practicable.
